Asda Community Life have given the WDSA (UK) a cheque after running the Green Token Scheme in their Watford store.
Staff and volunteers accepting the cheque on the charity’s behalf at the WDSA (UK)’s Head Offices in Watford. The money will go back out to support the local area through taster sessions and any upcoming Tea Dances.
“We have received this money from Asda at a fantastic time,” says Marketing Officer Iain Richards. “After the success of last month’s West Hertfordshire Tea Dance we are already looking into extending that into more Tea Dances in the area. These Tea Dance’s help disabled people socially and physically, once the music is played there are smiles across the room, it’s beautiful. Maybe we can extend more Tea Dances in more areas.”
