Para Dance UK are today confirming that the 2018 UK National Championships will be held on the 27th October in Harrow.
The UK’s official National Championships will gather the best UK Para dancers, and it will be held at the Harrow Arts Centre, an arts venue in the London Borough of Harrow.
This competition follows up a successful competition run last year in November. The competition and awards are being sponsored in partnership with Bush & Company.
This year’s competition follows the same suit as last year and there will be an Inclusive Dance Festival to open proceedings for the day. This festival is for those who want to perform, no matter what dance style, under no rules or competition and is open to all. Para Dance UK is the National Governing Body for para dance sport and para dancing within the UK, for those who would otherwise be excluded from dancing. The aim of Para Dance UK is to promote and develop para dancing as a sport and leisure activity across the country and to raise the standard of coaching and competition in the UK and internationally at all levels.
