We know that good communication is the key to successful inclusive dance activities and Para Dance UK is thrilled to have 3 members of the dance team who have worked hard to complete every available level of Makaton training through levels 1 to 4!
Emma Millward, Head of Dance said “Makaton and other communication methods are widely used across the disability community and so it is important that we use every available tool to communicate with all of our participants and enhance the experience of dance with Para Dance UK. I am very proud of our team who have showed hard work and determination to learn and apply these skills at such a high level.”
