When participating in Para Dance activities, you should ensure that you are in safe environment at all times and are healthy enough to take part in the session.
As with any physical activity, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you engage in Para dance activity, you agree that you do so at your own risk.
You are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself, and agree to absolve Para Dance UK of any liability regarding any injury sustained now or in the future on account of your participation in Para Dance activities. You further agree to release and discharge Para Dance UK from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, now and in the future.
Every effort will be made to keep the live stream up and running smoothly. However, Para Dance UK takes no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the live stream being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.
Precautionary Rules
To take part in our sessions online we require a parent/guardian of the child or young person taking part to agree to the below precautionary rules and our disclaimer above.
- A parent/guardian/responsible adult in the room directly supervising for safeguarding reasons for the full session.
- A clear space – to avoid injury (or damaging any breakable items in your home), please make sure any hazardous items or wires that could be tripped over or bumped into are removed or secured.
- Suitable footwear. Please don’t dance on a smooth surface with only socks on, as there is an increased risk or slipping
- A drink on hand
- If dancing in a wheelchair, please ensure the anti-tips are activated, and nothing is hanging on the back of the chair and that all straps are used.
