As the current pandemic continues we are looking at more ways to look after our wellbeing and keep moving.

This page lists all of the current opportunities to get involved, whether that be through Facebook live’s, pre-recorded videos to do in your own time, or even some zoom sessions you will find all the details below.

vy3mj.pngWe would like to invite you to join us live on Facebook for inclusive dance sessions that you can do at home. As the Facebook sessions will be streamed live, you can join in with the virtual dance session and interact with our instructors and other participants using the comment function.

Feel Good Sessions: Friday @1PM on Facebook!

Come along and get involved with some feel-good inclusive dancing, all aimed to help you maintain activity while being at home, enjoy some time dancing with others and lift your spirits.

We have set up the sessions as events on our Facebook page, so the sessions can go straight into your Facebook calendar once you join, link to our events page here:

All live sessions are recorded and automatically saved, so if you miss a session, you can always take part another time, just go to our Facebook page to find the session videos.

During this pandemic, access to dance and physical activity has been so very different, There are many athletes and participants home shielding earlier and for longer than the rest of the UK we’ve been working hard to source funding and create content to keep everyone dancing.

We are firm believers that no matter your age or ability music and dance improve mental and physical wellbeing!

We are pleased to be able to continue our funded sessions for you to view within your own setting, whether that is your home, a residential facility, or day service you work at to get yourself and your service users dancing!

Tour of the Floor

Thanks to the government’s #CultureRecoveryFund we can continue to be #HereForCulture. Para Dance UK are thrilled to have launched a new programme, specially designed for social dancers, on getting back into inclusive dance. Tour Of The Floor will let you explore different dance genres from all over the world and will help get you dancing again in a fun and safe way.HereForCulture logo Black 537x500 1

The super flexible programme is made up of different mini-courses with videos for you to join in with. These videos are full sessions in different genres and all have a warm up, routine and cool down. You can do these videos over and over again if you like!

You can also get creative with Tour Of The Floor with the downloadable resources, by making your own passport with all the stamps relating to the different dance session videos! You might want to build your own dance calendar to give yourself sessions to look forward to, or keep a journal on your journey back into dance.

To sign up for this amazing opportunity, please email with your name and the email address you’d like to use for your Litmos account. We’ll reply to your email with a confirmation and we will attach our helpful Litmos user guide and an outline of what you’ll need to access the programme.

If you’re an athlete and currently use Litmos to access our competitor programme Fit For The Floor, please email us, as we’ll need to manually add you to the Tour Of The Floor programme.

To make sure you don’t miss your Litmos log in emails and any course related messages, go to your email account and add to any email spam filters you have and/or your contacts list, as all communications will come from that email address.

Fit for the Floor

We’ve worked in collaboration with disabled and non-disabled practitioners in the fitness,LOGO.jpg wellbeing and Dance Sport industries to give athletes a unique programme for getting back into Para Dance Sport after a lengthy time away from training and competitions due to Coronavirus. This has been made possible with funding from the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.

Designed to assist athletes in getting active and fit for when they can return to competition training, the super flexible online programme is made up of different mini-courses, including two body and mind fitness courses with videos for athletes to join in with. These videos are to help increase fitness, strength and stamina and also to help athletes focus, unwind and relax. Athletes can go back and do these videos, again and again, to get competition-ready!

EMD Online Inclusive Dance sessions

Suitable for all dancing abilities, these sessions are open to the whole disabled community thanks to funding from National Lottery funding and from the Sport England’s Tackling Inequalities Fund.

Taking place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm, you have the choice to slow it down with Emma or speed it up with Ruby. If you like, you could even do both!

As the sessions are online there are no limits to who can attend. You can sign up as an:

Here are all the session details. Tuesdays, 7-8pm
Join Emma and enjoy a range of dance and music styles in this uplifting class that aims to make you feel good in body and mind. This class is slower paced and can be taken seated or standing, everyone is welcome and there will be lots of options to tailor the routines to suit you. No experience is necessary, these sessions are all about having lots of fun and simply enjoying moving to music. These live Zoom inclusive dance sessions are running now for the next 8 weeks!

Thursdays 7-8pm
Join Ruby for some faster paced sessions which can be done standing or seated and will include a warm up, routine and cool down. Inspired by many genres of dance, from flowy lyrical to funky pop to cheery musical theatre, you’ll learn a different fun routine every week! These are starting on Thursday 10th February and will run for 8 weeks.

Para Dance UK Inclusive Dance Club exclusively for Wales

To all of our friends in Wales, we have an exclusive dance club starting this morning. Para Dance UK are delighted to be hosting a ten-week Inclusive Dance Club exclusively for those living in Wales.

It is a fun, free virtual inclusive dance club taking place on Zoom every Monday from 10:30am - 11:30am starting from the 14th February 2022.

Perfect for:

  • People who want to try dance for the first time.
  • People who have danced before but just want to add some fun into their day
  • People with disabilities.
  • Settings for older people.
  • Day Centres

As the sessions take place online, there are no restrictions to the number of people who can attend, so you can sign up as an individual, family or friends, in a group or care setting. Led by our brilliant instructor Selina, all of the routines have been choreographed so they are adaptable and can be performed standing or seated.

Dance Card Resources

Para Dance UK the NGB for Para Dance Sport and Inclusive Dance and LimbPower the National Disability Sports Organisation for amputees and individuals with limb impairments have come together with Youth Sport Trust to enable more of our community to dance, using the knowledge of both organisations we have developed materials for children, young people and the wider community that may not or cannot get out into the community, but still want to keep active.

The four dance cards have been developed so they can be used by an individual or in a school or community setting and involves engaging and easy to follow routines that are accessible and fun. They support strength, balance, and flexibility and help to improve energy levels and mood. Each one is adaptable to an individual’s abilities, so people can simply take them at their own pace.

This Girl Can Dance

Para Dance UK are proud to be partnering with This Girl Can and will be launching our #ThisGirlCanDance sessions starting week commencing 17th of January 2022.

Ran by women for women, we invite you to come and take part whatever your dancing ability.
There will be 10 live Zoom sessions for disabled women and girls under 16 and women 17 and over with our Instructors held weekly showcasing a range of genres.

For women aged 17 and over:
These sessions will be with Emma W, on Tuesdays @ 8.15-9pm, starting 18th January.

For girls 16 and under
These sessions will be with Ruby, Saturdays @ 11-11.45am, starting 22nd January.

These fun-filled sessions are a great way to enjoy the benefits of dance from the comfort of your own home, meet some friendly faces and experience something new.

We will also have a library of pre-recorded videos available with easy to follow routines for any age to follow. There is also a special performance routine for our Inclusive Dance Day.

After School Clubs

Para Dance UK are excited to announce that our fun virtual inclusive dance club for primary and secondary school children in Hertfordshire with physical, mental health and/or special education needs is back!

Thanks to funding from Watford and Three Rivers Trust our dance club is completely free to join and will provide your child with a wonderful opportunity to engage in a fun filled activity, make new friends, and keep active after the school day.

The sessions will be full of fun-filled dance moves to help improve physical development, enhance learning skills, and most importantly provide a safe environment (virtually) for the children to have some fun! 

Our dance club for secondary schools is running until the 18th of May. The primary school club is currently an expression of interest and dates will be announced when we have enough registrations
