Dear Artists, Companies and Dancers,
We would like to invite you to perform as part of Big Dance 2016, celebrating its 10th anniversary – the Decades of Dance!
As part of the WDSA (UK) support of this fantastic selection of exciting dates, we want to engage the whole community, and ensure that the fantastic work being done by the disability community through Dance and Dancesport is showcase across all of these events, and inspire the disability community to believe that anyone can dance and we invite you to celebrate with us and perform on the Big Dance Bus and Big Dance Presents.
No matter what dance style, ability or the age – we welcome the breadth of dance and dancesport diversity and wealth of talent in all its forms at Big Dance.
Big Dance Bus
The Big Dance Bus is back for an epic tour for 2016 to get everyone dancing.
“Real carnival feel, such a joy”
“How wonderful you made a theatre out of a car park!”
We are converting London’s iconic double-decker into a mobile venue live and interactive for dance. Over the summer the high impact ‘pop up ballroom and ready made rave’ will weave itself across the capital, transforming itself into a stage complete with DJ, PA system and dance-floor, creating an unforgettable experience for all!
We want to promote your work from one borough to the next and this is a great vehicle (excuse the pun) to do exactly that. But that’s enough about what we think – click here to see what the audiences of 2012 had to say: http://vimeo.com/54542514
Specifics
Stage: 10m x 10m dance-floor
Performance slots available: around 20 slots per bus stop, of 3-8 minute slots.
